Please read and understand these terms and conditions before starting your care journey with Life Effect Chiropractic.
Your Consultation Journey
Initial Assessment
- Your journey begins with a New Client Consultation followed by a Report of Findings
- During your consultation, we'll assess your needs and determine the most appropriate care approach
- At your Report of Findings, we'll discuss the results of your assessment and explore your care options together
Previous Chiropractic Care
- If you've received chiropractic care elsewhere within the last 6 months for your current condition, we'll conduct a brief medical history and examination
- For new conditions, we'll need to complete a full New Client Consultation
Appointment Preparation
- Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled consultation time to complete necessary paperwork
- Alternatively, we can email your forms in advance for you to complete at your convenience
Appointment Guidelines
Cancellations
- We require 24 working hours' notice for appointment changes or cancellations
- For Monday appointments, please notify us by 12pm on the preceding Saturday
- Late cancellations may incur a fee
- We understand emergencies happen - please let us know as soon as possible if you're unable to atten
Running Late?
- If you're running behind, please call us to let us know
- Late arrivals may affect your appointment time
- We'll always try our best to accommodate you, but very late arrivals may require rescheduling
Payment Information
Payment Terms
- Payment is due at the time of your care
- We accept all major credit/debit cards and cash
- Care plans must be paid for in advance
- We offer flexible payment options for selected care plans
Refund Policy
Care Services
- Refunds for care services cannot be provided unless negligence is proven
- For early exit from prepaid care plans:
- Original bulk discount will not apply
- Previous care will be calculated at standard rates
- Refund will not exceed the amount paid
Your Feedback Matters
If you're ever unhappy with any aspect of your care, please:
1. Discuss your concerns with your Chiropractor
2. Request a second opinion from another team member if needed
3. Speak with our Practice Manager
4. Contact our professional body if needed - United Chiropractic Association (01293 817175)
5. For unresolved serious concerns, you may contact the General Chiropractic Council
Returning to Care
- If you haven't visited us for more than 6 months, you'll be considered an inactive client
- To ensure we provide the most appropriate care, we'll need to complete a new medical history before resuming care
- This requires a longer appointment to assess your current needs and create an updated care plan
