See you soon!
HERE’S WHAT YOU GET
We want to ensure you get the most value from your time in the clinic. Your consultation process consists of two appointments, an Initial Assessment and a Report of Findings, both included within the fee you’ve already paid.
During these visits, our goal is to gain a thorough understanding of your health history, current concerns, and any symptoms you are experiencing, so that we can act as a trusted advisor in your ongoing health journey.
By the end of your consultation, you will have a clearer understanding of your body, the potential causes of any issues identified, and the available options to help support your recovery and overall wellbeing.
INITIAL ASSESSMENT
At the initial assessment, our number one goal is to find out what we can help you with.
The appointment will also include a review of your health history, an examination (involving assessment of your spine, joints, nerves and muscles using orthopaedic, functional, and neurological tests), and digital on-site x-rays (if clinically required). It will last approximately 30-40 minutes.
DIGITAL ON-SITE X-RAYS
Radiographic imaging (X-rays) can provide a detailed and objective assessment of the spine and joints. It allows for clear visualisation of spinal alignment, joint integrity, disc spacing, and bone structure, as well as the identification of any degenerative, traumatic, or pathological changes. X-rays also play an important role in excluding more serious underlying conditions that may require medical investigation or intervention.
The decision to take X-rays will be based on your specific clinical presentation and the findings from your consultation and physical examination.
REPORT OF FINDINGS
Once we have been through a full assessment, your second appointment (also known as a Report of Findings) provides a dedicated time for us to give you specific feedback, advice, and recommendations based on your individual circumstances. Here, the results of any X-rays will be shown and explained.
As a verbal ‘report’ on the outcome of your assessment, we will tell you if we can help you, how we can help, how long it will take and how much it will cost.
