Thank you for booking with us!
HERE’S WHAT YOU GET
To help you gain the best understanding of your body and get the most from your visit with us, your consultation process includes two appointments: an Initial Assessment and a Report of Findings. Both are included in the fee you have already paid.
Whether you are coming in for a general check and ongoing maintenance, aiming to prevent future issues, or have a specific problem or concern you want help understanding or correcting, we will carry out a thorough clinical assessment. This may include X-rays if needed, a physical examination, and a review of your medical history to ensure you receive exactly what you need from the process.
By the end of your consultation, you will have a clear understanding of your body, the potential causes of any issues identified, and the options available to support your recovery and long-term wellbeing.
INITIAL ASSESSMENT
At the initial assessment, our number one goal is to find out what we can help you with.
Depending on your goals and what you would like to achieve, we will assess your overall health, function, and structure, or focus more specifically on identifying the root cause of your pain, condition, or concern. This will involve a physical examination and, if appropriate, functional and orthopaedic tests. X-rays may also be taken if needed. The appointment will last approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
DIGITAL ON-SITE X-RAYS
Radiographic imaging (X-rays) can provide a detailed and objective assessment of the spine and joints. It allows for clear visualisation of spinal alignment, joint integrity, disc spacing, and bone structure, as well as the identification of any degenerative, traumatic, or pathological changes. X-rays also play an important role in excluding more serious underlying conditions that may require medical investigation or intervention.
The decision to take X-rays will be based on your specific clinical presentation and the findings from your consultation and physical examination.
REPORT OF FINDINGS
Once we have completed your initial assessment, your Chiropractor will need a few hours to review your complete file, notes and X-rays to determine the correct findings and plan of management. You will then need to return for a follow-up appointment, also known as the Report of Findings. We recommend booking this follow-up within 1-2 days of your first visit. This appointment is included in the fee you have already paid, so there is no additional cost.
We advise you to call or email us to book this second appointment as soon as you can to ensure you get the time/date that suits you best.
As a verbal ‘report’ on the outcome of your assessment and X-rays, we will tell you if we can help you, how we can help, how long it will take, and how much it will cost.
